"Holiday Treasures: Our 13th Annual Holiday Poster Show" November 30, 2006

International Poster Gallery announces "Holiday Treasures: Our 13th Annual Holiday Poster Show", an exhibition celebrating new acquisitions with themes of travel, sports, food and beverage. The show opens December 1, 2006 and will run until January 15, 2007. The show is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday noon to 6 pm. Since opening in 1994 on Newbury Street, International Poster Gallery has hosted more than 30 thematic exhibitions of original vintage posters. Many of these have been specialized, in-depth surveys, including exhibitions on posters of the Russian Revolution, The Golden Age of Travel 1890-1939, and the first exhibitions dedicated to Italian posters in this country.
