Holiday "Mini-Festival" featuring "Unsilent Night" and Restaurant Tours December 8, 2007

International Festival of Arts & Ideas invites New York artist Phil Kline to present his signature composition, “Unsilent Night”, a boom-box symphony on Thursday, December 13, starting promptly at 6:15pm. This public processional of hundreds of boom-boxes (or iPod/MP3 players w/speakers) carried through city streets builds a peaceful multi-dimensional sound environment out of other-worldly voices and bells. In addition to “Unsilent Night”, devotees of the Festival’s popular food tours can indulge in Vino, Saffron y Sofrito: Flavors of Spain and Latin America on Saturday, December 8 at 1:30pm or 9th Square Noshes: Experimental, Eccentric, Distinctive Food and Drink of 9th Square on Wednesday, December 12 at 5:30pm.
