Come celebrate the holiday season with family and friends during Brookfield Zoo’s 30th annual Holiday Magic, featuring nearly one million twinkling lights illuminating the zoo’s walkways, a dazzling light show, ice-carving demonstrations, singing to the animals, live music and entertainment, magicians, and much more.
Decorated and lit community trees will line the malls as guests stroll the walkways to see the animals. Many exhibits, including Great Bear Wilderness, Tropic World, The Swamp, The Living Coast, The Fragile Kingdom, Pachyderm, Children’s Zoo, and Hamill Family Play Zoo, will be open on select evenings for viewing of favorite animals.
Santa will be available to hear children’s wish lists (through December 18). In addition, the zoo’s restaurants and food stands will be open with full menus and holiday treats, and gift shops will have hundreds of unique items for those hard-to-shop-for loved ones.
On December 31, zoogoers can join in an early countdown to the New Year at Brookfield Zoo’s Zoo Year’s Eve celebration held during Holiday Magic. The fun-filled event begins at 6:00 p.m. with festive music, games, and prizes, as well as an early countdown to the New Year at 8:00 p.m. for families with younger children.
Holiday Magic is also sponsored in part by American Airlines, the zoo’s official airline.
