Holiday Jazz Vespers featuring the Atlanta Jazz Chorus and Special Guests December 11, 2010

The Holiday Jazz Vespers features the Atlanta Jazz Chorus under the direction of Dr. Dwight Andrews and will include some of the city’s finest jazz musicians and singers. The Atlanta Jazz Chorus, founded in 1997 as a collaboration of the First Congregational Church and the National Black Arts Festival, works to preserve the choral works of America’s masters of jazz. Each year the Vespers includes distinguished special guests from around the country with previous stars including Charles S. Dutton, Kenny Leon, and vibraphonist Jay Hoggard. The Holiday Jazz Vespers, a seasonal tradition, will make the holiday standards into the swinging and soulful sound of jazz.
