Holiday Brunch at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place December 21, 2008

Chicago, IL- Shor, the elegant new restaurant at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin Luther King Drive, will feature a delectable Holiday Brunch for the whole family from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21. The menu will feature a Salad Bar, several gourmet Entrée choices, fresh fruits, homemade Pastries and a sumptuous Dessert Bar. Children will have the opportunity to get a photo taken with Santa Claus for a $5 donation. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation. For reservations, call 312.528.4140.



The Holiday Brunch will offer breakfast items such as freshly baked Pastries, Assorted Cereals, Granola with Compotes, Gravlox and Smoked Salmon, and Sliced Fruits and Yogurt. At the Salad Bar guests will be able to indulge in Beet and Citrus Salad; Tomato Caprese with Olives, Basil, Balsamic and Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Marinated Mushroom Salad with Feta Cheese; Seafood Antipasto Salad; Fresh Fruit Salad; Pasta Selections; and Meats, Cheese and Marinated Vegetables.



Guests will be able to choose from one of the following a la carte gourmet entrees: Benedict of Filet on Herb Brioche; Shrimp Frittata with Peppers, Onions, Olives, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, and Artichokes; Roast Beef Hash with Mushrooms, Spinach Poached Eggs and French Bread; Seared Pork Medallions over Braised Cabbage, served with fresh Apple Sauce; Horseradish Potato Crusted Sturgeon with Chive Beurre Blanc; Roasted Chicken with Stuffing; Glazed Sliced Ham with Corn Pudding; and Fish, Pork and Chicken served with array of Vegetables and Potatoes. Freshly baked Breads and Biscuits will be served.

For dessert, there will be sumptuous Yule Logs, a Cheesecake Bar with condiments, and a tempting array of assorted Pies and Cakes. Decadent Cookies, Brownies, Pudding and Cobbler will also be available.
