History Pub March 30, 2009

History Pub, sponsored by Holy Names Heritage Center, Oregon Historical Society, and McMenamins, brings regional history your way in a lively pub setting. Jan Dilg will speak on "Working Women: Caroline Gleason/S. Miriam Theresa and Oregon's First Minimum Wage Law." Caroine Gleason worked in Portland factories, surveyed Oregon's working women, and helped craft the country's first minimum wage law. Learn more about the past while enjoying a frosty pint and a slice of pizza.
