Las Cruces, NM – The March11, 2010 “History Notes” program will focus on early businesses in Las Cruces. A panel of speakers will discuss newspapers, mercantiles and hotels prior to the arrival of the railroad in 1881. "History Notes” are informal discussions focusing on local and regional history lead by staff and volunteers on the second Thursday of each month from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Branigan Cultural Center.
The Branigan Cultural Center, 501 N. Main Street, is located at the north end of the Downtown Mall in Las Cruces. All programs are free and open to the public.
