You may not be able to judge a book by its cover, but you can learn a lot about history and the skills of people in bygone times by looking closely at book bindings. This exhibit, "Historical Bookbindings: A Thousand Years of Structure and Style," created by guest curator and expert book historian Julia Miller, shows book bindings of a wide assortment of types and styles dating from the last 1000 years.
Free and open to the public. Available during Audubon Room Hours: Sun 2-7pm, Mon-Fri 8:30am-7pm, Sat 10am-6pm.
