We will discuss why this man-made wonder was created and who was instrumental in convincing the City that a park was needed. Along the way we'll pass through Literary Walk, Bethesda Terrace and learn what significant event in New York City history the "Angel of the Fountain" commemorates. On our way to Belvedere Castle we'll pass through the "Ramble" and view a fascinating geological phenomenon.
