As part of the Francophonie in DC Festival the Embassy of Canada and Quebec Government are proud to present Histoire de Famille. Quebec,1960: Robert Gagné, his wife May and their four children live a quiet life on a small farm. As the stage is set for the Quiet Revolution, their youngest daughter falls gravely ill. The ordinary Gagné family will, in their own way, experience the events that transformed Quebec from Jean Lesage’s election in 1960 until the Parti Québécois’ victory in 1976.
