Hispanic CREO - INVITE ONLY December 18, 2009

CACCTB is pleased to host a luncheon for Hispanic CREO to announce Laura and Jorge Posada of the Jorge Posada Foundation as their National Spokespersons. Jorge Posada is the catcher for the 2009 world series winning New York Yankees.

The luncheon is presented by Jorge Posada Foundation http://www.jorgeposadafoundation.org/ and Hispanic Council of Reform and Educational Options (HCREO) http://www.hcreo.org/, in collaboration with CACCTB.

The Jorge Posada Foundation reaches out to families in need whose children are affected by Craniosynostosis and provide them with emotional support through the Foundation’s family support network. The Foundation provides financial assistance to underwrite a portion of the costs of initial surgeries in partner medical centers throughout the United States. The Foundation also raises awareness about Craniosynostosis through educational outreach and events.

Hispanic CREO improves educational outcomes for Hispanic children by empowering families through parental choice in education. The achieve this by providing parents with free information and resources, which help them to become advocates for their children.
