When it first opened at the National Theatre in January 2004, His Dark Materials was the hottest ticket in town and completely sold out for the duration of its run. Now, the much-acclaimed Theatre Royal Bath Young People’s Theatre stages its most ambitious project ever when it presents Philip Pullman’s epic trilogy ( Northern Lights, The Subtle knife, The Amber Spyglass) on the Theatre Royal’s Main Stage.
His Dark Materials takes audiences on a thrilling journey through parallel universes with 12 year-olds, Lyra and Will. Their great quest demands a savage struggle against the most dangerous of enemies – rebellious angels, soul-eating spectres, child-catching Gobblers and the armoured bears and witch-clans of the Arctic.
Tickets are going on sale now for this major theatrical event which will take place during the Easter vacation 2008. Although both parts of this spellbinding adventure may be enjoyed independently, the full scale of the theatrical experience will best be enjoyed by seeing both parts.
Tickets: Part 1 or 2 = £13.50/£7.50 (£8/£5 discounts)
Both Parts = £22/£12 (£12/£8 discounts)
Ages: All ages
