The second-annual edition of the '60s-rock revival Hippiefest features a lineup headed by The Turtles, Felix Cavaliere's Rascals and The Zombies. The traveling nostalgia festival will also feature iconic '60s and '70s acts such as Mitch Ryder, Mountain, Country Joe McDonald, Badfinger, Iron Butterfly, Denny Laine and Melanie. The lineup will vary slightly from one stop to the next.

Truth be Told
This show ought to be great. The groups look fantastic and the music will be awesome. But let us not forget, it was this generation that used lots of illegal drugs that the money ended up in 3rd world countries to start the beginnings of drug lords, financed hit squads, created corrupt governments that made people disappear etc. So for every flower, remember, their was a lot of manure and blood to make this trip work and it was thrown down poor peoples throat so they could do their own trip. If you do not want to see the results of all that free love and drug use, then stay on the LSD and everything will be a beautiful kaleidoscope. Guess that is what Hip is all about!
