Richland College is partnering with “Hip Hop for HIV,” to provide free HIV testing as well as on-site medical counseling for all those tested. Get tested and receive a free ticket to the Third Annual “Testing for Tickets” Hip Hop Concert, hosted by 97.9 FM The Beat.
HIV testing will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on June 9 in the east circle outside of Fannin Hall on the Richland campus, 12800 Abrams Road in Dallas. The “Testing for Tickets” concert will be held on June 20 from 3-7 p.m. at the Palladium Ballroom, 1135 South Lamar in Dallas. Among this year’s featured performers are Omarion, Marques Houston, Roscoe Dash and Dorrough.
“Hip Hop for HIV” allows those tested to know their status, be further educated on the disease and be better informed on the social and medical services available to treat those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS
This event is being hosted by the Dallas County Community College District, the City of Dallas, Metro PCS and the Martin Luther King Jr. Family Clinic. For more information, call 972-238-6022 or visit http://thebeatdfw.com/events.
