The eighth Pillars of the Community Awards Luncheon, Hillel’s annual major event to support the programs and activities of Hillel of Silicon Valley, will be highlighted by a Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Rosemary Schindler, grand-niece of the famed “Righteous Gentile” Oskar Schindler. Also receiving honors will be the Reverend Aimee Moiso of Santa Clara University’s Campus Ministry, and community members and longtime Hillel advocates Rick and Ann Tavan and Pat Werba.
Student honorees are Michelle Fanwick, De Anza College; Dana Margittai, San Jose State University; Ori Shadmon, Foothill College; Marc Wiesner, Santa Clara University School of Law; and Neusha Zarrabian, West Valley College.
The event also features a silent auction. This event is open to the community. Attendees are requested to register by April 5, 2012 at http://www.hillelsv.org (click on the “Pillars” box).
