The final installment of Working Title's 2007 Playwrights &...Series brings Hilary King to the boards with her own unique storytelling event at Wordsmiths Books. Turning a poet's eye to church life in Matthew, Mark, Luke & Potluck: Church Poems by Hilary King, she celebrates the evidence of faith in every day living. Never preachy, Hilary shares poems about how to move your amen, bringing bells to Easter, and what if women had written the Bible. Hilary lives and works in Atlanta, where she writes poetry, plays, and short fiction. Her work has been featured at Eyedrum, the Academy Theatre, and the Decatur Arts Festival. Join us as Hilary King performs on the Wordsmiths stage. The event is free and was funded in part by Poets & Writers, Inc.
