Coming to Hilarity Bitesize in Darlington on February 19th 2013:

Michael J Dolan

Michael J Dolan’s intriguingly unique, deliciously ‘cup half empty’ worldview has been screaming to impose itself upon the greater populous for many years. Finally, through the medium of stand up comedy, his hate-fuelled yet beguiling outlook became available for all to (un)happily revel in. Since 2007 Dolan has been building a reputation as a highly cerebral comic with the innate ability to make audiences contemplate the world from a very different angle, and thoroughly enjoy doing so.

Spending most of his time indoors, with a woman and a cat, when Dolan does venture out amongst the public, he delights audiences nationwide, regularly performing at many of the UK’s most popular comedy clubs, proving to be a great addition to any quality line up.
In 2011 Michael made his Edinburgh Fringe solo debut with his one hour show “Dress to Depress”. Critically acclaimed, playing to packed out rooms each day, the show was a resounding success. Receiving multiple 4 star reviews, this was a fine debut, something that was mirrored by a tweet from one particularly discerning festival-goer:

“...Edinburgh! One of my fave shows is @MichaelJDolan. Grumpiness has never been so smart and funny.” Sarah Millican

“He’s got Dylan Moran’s knack for sharp writing and surprising jokes” - The Skinny

“An elegant linguist... he displays a remarkable maturity in his writing” - Chortle

“Michael J Dolan is a very, very funny man” - The Skinny

MC Will Duggan

Will Duggan started performing comedy in 2009. Since then he has established himself as a dynamic and exciting new act and a quick and witty MC.

In the short time he has been performing comedy Will has been in the final of many prestigious competitions including Beat the Frog World Series 2011. He was nominated for Best MC at the 2011 Nottingham Comedy Festival Awards.
