Rob Rouse
"Eye-wateringly hilarious" **** - The List
One of comedy’s most lively, loveable and dynamic performers, Rob Rouse (8 out of 10 Cats, The Friday Night Project) has taken his trademark comedic storytelling to a career high with two fantastic runs at the Edinburgh festival in the past two years. Expect stories of his life as a brand new father, his encounters with road-kill and his life as the beleaguered owner of the most spectacularly randy dog you’re EVER likely to hear about...
“Left the audience in a giggling slobbering heap” **** - Edinburgh Festival Magazine
Gary Delaney
Gary Delaney is a razor sharp one-liner comedian, who is widely regarded as being the most quotable comic on the circuit. The high quantity of stand out gags leaves the audience struggling to remember them all.
A regular at all of the biggest comedy clubs in the UK, Gary has just performed his first solo show at the Edinburgh Festival, despite his many years of experience on the circuit, to enormous critical acclaim.
Gary has written for Ivan Brackenbury's Hospital Radio Roadshow (nominated for the Perrier Award in 2007), Russell Howard’s Good News, Jason Manford's Comedy Rocks, and Radio 4’s The News Quiz, and also received two Sony Awards for his work for Kerrang! Radio.
"Taut, brilliant one-liners. Delaney was worth the price of admission alone." - Chortle
“Quickfire material of the very highest quality is pretty much guaranteed from the fast-thinking Delaney, a master of the deadpan one-liner.” - The Guardian
“The man Jimmy Carr tries to be” - BBC
MC Barry Dodds
Barry has forged an enviable reputation for himself over the past few years, charming audiences nationwide, with his uniquely tailored combination of disarming Geordie wit and wry, down-to-earth observational humour.
A finalist in both the Jimmy Carr Comedy Idol competition, and Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy search, and a semi-finalist in the BBC New talent Awards 2005 - Barry has taken the national circuit by storm, with his mix of surprisingly dark and irrepressibly cheeky material.
Fascinated by stand-up from an early age, Barry took to the stage at the tender age of 21, and is now a firm audience favourite at clubs such as The Stand, The Frog and Bucket, Opus, XS Malarkey and many more.
With material covering everything from failed culture bids to an obsession with ghosthunting. In 2006 Barry jetted off to Luxembourg where he performed a solo show - and became the first ever comedian to perform on Luxembourg TV.
"Hugely enjoyable…a ton of great stories…one to watch”" - The Guardian
