Hilarity Bites New Act Competition - Heat 1 May 7, 2011

From May to July 2011 the Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year competition returns for the fourth year as the North-East's biggest and longest running comedy competition.

Who will follow in the footsteps of Sam Gore, Andrew Ryan and Andy Fury to be named the winner of the competition?

Heat 1 will be compered by Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist Ray Bradshaw, and will feature 12 of the UK's best new comedians as they aim to stake their place in the final of the competition in July. Each will perform for up to 7 minutes to win the vote of the audience and a panel of judges.
