Sometimes called the “Bermuda Triangle of New Jersey”, the Round Valley Reservoir was created in the 1960s and is the deepest body of water in New Jersey at 180 feet. Surrounding the three-mile-long, two-mile-wide reservoir is the 1,288-acre Round Valley Recreation Area. Join us as we ramble over a portion of the rugged Cushetunk Trail that encircles the reservoir. We will meet in the South Parking Lot at the Cushetunk Trail trailhead before beginning our adventure. After the hike the group may go out for drinks and a late lunch (always a great time).
