On Sunday, June 26th, join us for the sixth annual Hike for Hospice. Hikers enjoy beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding foothills as they make the 5-mile round trip hike to the top of Olinger Mount Lindo, home of the illuminated cross in Morrison. Hikers can release a dove at the summit in honor or memory of a loved one. Leashed dogs are also welcome to hike!
This unique event supports Porter Hospice and St. Anthony Hospice, the hospice programs of Centura Health at Home. For more than twenty five years, these non-profit hospice programs have helped thousands of people through their end-of-life journey, giving them comfort and peace at a time when they need it most.
All funds raised from Hike for Hospice go directly back into our hospice programs to provide assistance for patients and their families including: spiritual care, bereavement support, volunteer coordination and services for children through The Butterfly Program.
Hikers can register individually or in teams. To register or to get more information, visit hikeforhospice.org
Check in from 7am to 8am, hikers may begin after checking in.
