Enjoy a fun afternoon while helping others by taking part in the Lazarus House 10th Annual Hike for Hope. Walk 1 or 5 miles, then celebrate your accomplishment with food, games and festivities. Held on Sunday, October 4 at 12:30 p.m. at Merrimack College, the event raises awareness for homelessness and the need for affordable housing. It also raises vital funds to support the families living in transitional housing while working to improve their lives. Thanks to thousands of participants, donors, sponsors and volunteers, there are families who were homeless who are now living in a safe place while they build successful and productive lives. You can help even more families. For more information on how to have fun and change lives, go to www.hikeforhope.org or contact Lazarus House at 978-269-5206.
