Highlights From the Sellars Collection -At Huntsville Museum of Art September 20, 2009

The museum is proud to present a first glimpse into its landmark acquisition of outstanding paintings and drawings that celebrates the achievements of over 250 talented women artists active from 1850 to 1940. Varied in terms of subject matter, the Collection encompasses accomplished florals and still-lifes, elegant portraits, engaging genre scenes, and landscapes both intimate and panoramic, reflecting many different regions of the country and world.
