Highland Spring Pipers Challenge May 29, 2009

This is an annual bagpiping competition held on the picturesque banks of the Genesee River, Rochester, NY. Friday is a candlelit competition, called Piobaireachd. Saturdays' events offer solo competitions, mini-band competition and a professional grade competition. Saturday evening is a variety of recitals from a few of the best Highland Bagpipers in the world followed by Celtic band sensation, Cliudan! The evening Celtic celebration/Pub night has a ticket cost f $17.00 at the door/$15 in advance.
