The High Drops formed in 2010 over a shared love for 50s and 60s rock and roll. With a raw sound and simplistic approach they weave through Blues and Psychedelia. Their dreamy harmonies, melodic crooning and hazy guitar riffs are accompanied by a solid train-like rhythm. The band lives in Vancouver and has just finished recording their self-titled debut EP, due for release in July 2011.

The High Drops are Alexi Baris on guitar/vox, Mitch Charron on guitar, Rob Butterfield on bass and Jen Smyth on drums.

Formed in 2010, Vancouver-based Prisoners recorded their debut album, This is All of the Time at The Hive Creative Labs, in studios used by such revered Canadian acts as Black Mountain, Destroyer, Japandroids and The Pack AD. This is All of the Time was released in April 2011 with the help of seasoned engineers of Jesse Gander and Stuart McKillop.

Prisoners are Tim Dobie-Guitar on vox, Neil Corbett on drums/percussion/vox, Mitch Pollock on bass/vox, and Wes Regan on key.
