In this ultimate “jock meets nerd” love story, basketball captain Troy Bolton secretly longs to act and sing – but he’s just to cool to tell anyone. When auditions are announced for the school’s production of Juliet & Romeo, Troy sneaks in and auditions with transfer student and math nerd Gabriella Montez. Sparks fly as the all-American boy and glasses-wearing geek share instant chemistry and together overcome cliques, stereotypes and teen angst on their way into the spotlight.
