The second annual All-American Championship, featuring the best high school boys basketball players in the country, will be held in New Orleans during the men’s collegiate basketball championship on Sunday, April 1 2012.
The inaugural All-American Championship was a roaring success. Televised nationally on ESPNU and ESPN3, the 2011 All-American Championship featured 27 seniors, each of whom was ranked among the Top 100 players in the country. Of the 14 juniors who participated, each was ranked among the Top 30 nationally.
In addition, those participating in the All-American Championship committed to play for some of the nation’s elite college basketball programs - Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Boston College, Connecticut, Duke, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Rutgers, St. John’s, Stanford, Texas, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Villanova, and West Virginia.
