High Point's Furniture Heritage October 24, 2012

High Point's Furniture Heritage examines the history of the relationship between the furniture industry and the people of High Point. The exhibit offers a unique perspective on the history of furniture manufacturing in our area. It includes interactive elements, video, photographs, memorabilia, machinery and furniture. The exhibit focuses attention on the furniture industry as a key element of the city's growth and prosperity. This exhibit, funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, documents this important industry in North Carolina.
