Dress for Success Miami Presents:
“High Heels & Boots Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament”
To Benefit At-Risk Women Re-entering the Workforce
Miami, FL. May 18, 2009—Dress for Success Miami proudly presents “High Heels & Boots Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament” fundraiser with proceeds to help women attain economic self sufficiency in South Florida. The event will take place Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Eden Roc Resort, 4525 Collins Avenue on Miami Beach. Registration starts at 7:00 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. cards fly. Both men and women are welcome. Cocktails and Hors D’oeuvres will be served.
The Grand Prize is a $2500 World Series of Poker Seat and a three-night stay in the Loew’s Las Vegas Resort. Prizes will also be awarded for the top ten finishers & Last Lady Standing.
One luxury vacation package will be raffled off at the event. The prize is a deluxe trip for two for three nights at the Mandarin Oriental in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The prize includes air fare, hotel, breakfast, dinner at signature restaurant and spa treatments. The raffle tickets can be purchased through Miami@dressforsuccess.org The winner does not need to be present to win and the drawing will be held at 10:00p.m.the night of the event. Raffle tickets cost $50.00 for one or $100.00 for three.
Player entrance fee is $160.00 in advance and $180.00 at the door. For those not entering the tournament, come and learn how to play poker by attending the poker boot-camp where guests will learn basic poker skill and strategy in a hands-on setting. Boot-Camp ticket price or spectator is $60.00.
