FACILITATOR – Mr. Suhail Iqbal

A distinguished career in Project Management, by pioneering the PM drive in Pakistan and sponsoring first PMI Chapter in Pakistan, being one of the first few PMPs and later very first PgMP from Pakistan, first Pakistani to ever have been awarded PMI Education Foundation’s Gary Christly Award for his PhD work at ESC Lille, France, 1st Pakistani graduate from Leadership Institute Master’s Class, USA. Mr. Suhail was the first PMP Trainer who started conducting PMP Prep Classes back in year 2001 and have so far trained over 8,000 individuals. Over 98% of all PMPs in Pakistan are his students and he is considered as an authority in project management. Currently involved in development of next edition of PMI’s core standard “A Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide), 5th Edition, likely to be released in year 2012. A regular contributor to PMI standards, PM conferences, congresses and publications.
Born and groomed in Pakistan, educated in Pakistan, USA, France and UK. Mr. Suhail Iqbal is a Research Scholar at ISGI - ESC Lille, France and a Trainer and Consultant in Pakistan. He is the owner and CEO of SysComp International (Pvt.) Ltd. (www.syscompk.com), a PMI Global Registered Education Provider.
Mr. Suhail has over 30 years’ of experience in diverse projects ranging from construction to IT, GIS, Data Warehousing, Networking, and standard formulation. He is fluent in English and Urdu languages and has experience of working in multi-cultural and virtual environments. Transitioning from his career in construction, he has worked as a software engineer, system analyst, data manager, project manager and program manager at executive level.
