Heroes' Night September 11, 2008

On September 11, our nation will remember the courageous men and women who risked their own lives to save the lives of others. La Paloma Academy invites the community to participate in its third annual Heroes' Night at the Lakeside Campus to honor Tucson’s own heroes on this day. The event commences with the presentation of colors by Davis Monthan honor guards. A special tribute conducted by Senator Tim Bee, a video presentation, dedication of gifts to local heroes and reading of student essays all follow. Representatives from the Red Cross, Tucson Fire Department, Tucson Police Department, military and local hospitals will all be in attendance. Call (520) 733-7373 for more information.
