Heroes and Villains of Broadway Battle on the Stage at Horizon High School October 22, 2010

The national award-winning Horizon High School Choral Department presents their annual Broadway Under the Stars production entitled, Heroes VS Villains. Four performances will be held at the Horizon auditorium located at 5601 E. Greenway Road in Scottsdale: Thursday, October 21st, at 7:00 p.m., Friday October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd at 7:30 P.M. and a matinee on Sunday, October 24th at 3:00 p.m. Nearly three-hundred students from six choirs will be performing songs reflecting this year’s theme including Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, The Wiz, Hercules and many more. This outstanding choir was recently awarded Grand Champion at the Fame Competition in Chicago, and has been featured on Channel 10 as the top “Glee” Show Choir in the State.

A Silent Auction to raise money for student scholarships will be held in the lobby at 6:00 p.m. prior to the show and at intermission on Friday and Saturday night. Golf and spa packages, resort getaways, and sports events are a few examples of quality items available for bidding.

Dessert Under the Stars will be provided for selective ticket holders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night performances.
