Herman Volz: Works from 1930-1970 - Opening Reception August 4, 2007

Bluespace will host an exhibition of work by Herman Volz, twentieth century painter, muralist, lithographer, set designer, decorative artist and ceramist. Born in Switzerland, living most of his life in San Francisco, Volz' work often expressed political activism and made social statements through his imagery. On exhibition and for sale will be well-known lithographs plus prints and watercolors that, until now, have been held privately by his widow, Friedel Volz.
