Herb Walk-Herbal & Medicinal August 22, 2009

Presented by the Pikes Peak Herb Association: Botanist and local author of A COMPLETE AMATEUR BOTANIST’S GUIDE TO PLANT IDENTIFICATION, Chris Frederick, will be leading us on an informative walk identifying edible & medicinal native plants. Chris has taught local plant identification classes and over the years has taught instructors at the survival school at the Air Force Academy, worked with the Boy Scouts of America and led walks for the Park and Rec’s Nature Center. Chris was one of the founding members of the Pikes Peak Herb Association and as a wild food enthusiast.
