A Dialogue between Diverse Neighbors is a collection of personal testimonies from women and girls living in Framingham composed into a participatory, multimedia presentation that involves live audience readings of some of the profiled women's testimonies. The testimonials emphasize the humanity of the interviewees - their childhoods, daily rhythms and concerns, hopes and struggles, and their thoughts on their town and their country, peace and war. Each woman shares her unique story of her life from her own perspective as a newcomer to the U.S. or a descendent of past immigrants. After participating in this program, audience members feel as though they have actually met the women profiled in the program.
