The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe is a hilarious, award-winning comedy that transcends time and space, warping through an eclectic assortment of over a dozen wildly different characters, including Trudy – a homeless hoarder with psychic abilities. According to Trudy, those psychic abilities come from her umbrella hat and are controlled by aliens from outer space who are – you guessed it! – searching for signs of intelligent life in the universe. This play was made famous on stage and screen by Lily Tomlin.
