I am posting this ride on the behalf of the memory of Jimmy Roberts, a active member of Rolling Thunder Georgia Chapter (1), Windwalkers M/C of Griffin, Georgia and ABATE of Georgia.

On June 23, 2009 Mr. Jimmy Roberts life was tragically cut short when a car made an illegal U-turn into the path which Jimmy was riding. He was only (43) years young when this accident happened.

Jimmy lived in the Greenville / Manchester, GA area. He is a true Native American and a Spiritual Advisor and Healer that helped out in the service of the Native American people.

When Jimmy rode with Rolling Thunder, he was always invited to ride second in command but he always chose to ride to the rear of the group.....always putting others "ahead" of himself.

As an active member and board member of Rolling Thunder Georgia, Chapter 1 Jimmy was an outspoken advocate for our U.S military veterans. Although he was not called to serve he was a true warrior, serving and standing up tall for the rights of those that fought and protected our country.
Jimmy always fought for the issues of our veterans, our POW's and our MIA's.

He was a loving husband and father and lived life to the fullest teaching and promoting "family first". He leaves behind his wife Melonie and (2) daughters, Cheyenne (age 11) and Shawnee (age 9)
