Help and how to find it!! January 13, 2009

Ask any small child where they would go to find help if they were ill or sick and they would immediately say the doctors, or the hospital. Ask someone in their 50’s or 60’s where they would go for help at the onset of a medical condition, old age or a debilitating illness, and they probably wouldn’t know where to start looking, let alone know what is available to help them.

On Tuesday 13th January 2009 at 7:00pm, Alton Methodist Church will be holding an evening event looking at this problem. “Help and how to find it! “, is being led by an advisor from ‘Leonard Cheshire Disability’ and will be covering all aspects of this subject; including where to go for help, what is available and how to get it. She will also be bringing some practical aids along with her. Lindsey is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable speaker. This event is open to all – feel free to bring a friend and pass on the details.
