Hello, Dolly! September 20, 2007

Hello, Dolly!, the Tony award winning production, previews September 13, opens September 20 and runs through October 21 at Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road. William Pullinsi will direct the charming Broadway hit starring the multi-award winning husband and wife duo Paula Scrofano as Dolly Gallagher Levi and John Reeger as Horace Vandergelder.

This whimsical turn-of-the-century tale centers around Dolly Gallagher Levi, a New York City matchmaker-extraordinaire hired to help a pompous Yonkers merchant in his pursuit of a wife. When Dolly unexpectedly falls in love with him herself, she stops at nothing to win his favor in this zany love story. Winner of 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Hello Dolly! features show-stopping choreography and toe-tapping songs such as Hello Dolly!, When The Parade Passes By and Put on Your Sunday Clothes.

Joining Paula Scrofano and John Reeger in Hello Dolly! are Cory Goodrich as Irene Molloy, Ed Kross Cornelius Hackl, Zach Zube as Barnaby Tucker, Dara Cameron as Minnie Fay, Jon Cunningham as Ambrose Kemper and Audrey Billings as Ermengarde. The ensemble includes Chris Walsh, Phil Higgins, Ann Acker, Rodrigo Cruz, Caryn Ott, Cara Salerno, Amy Olsen, Kelli Morgan, Brandon Koller, David Morrison, Kent Haina and Henry Odum.

Set Design is by Jack Magaw, Lighting Design is by Denise Karczewski, Costume Design is by Brenda Winstead, Stage Manager is Rebecca Green and Technical Director is Ann Davis. In addition to Direction by William Pullinsi, Musical Direction is by Bill Underwood.

Founded in 1991, Theatre at the Center is a year-round professional, equity theater at its home, The Center for Visual and Performing Arts, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana. Theatre at the Center is conveniently located off I-80/94, just 35 minutes from downtown Chicago.

The regular schedule is: Wednesdays & Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. ($36.00); Fridays at 8:00 p.m. ($39.00); Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. ($39.00); and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. ($39.00).
