Saturated with the exotic and Egyptian, 'Heavenly Aida' brings Giuseppe Verdi's grand opera up close through costumes worn by Louise Homer, Leontyne Price, Luciano Pavarotti and others for the Metropolitan Opera. Jewelry, watercolor drawings of costumes, video, and photographs are among the 25 works from the Met's many productions of this opera. Also on exhibit are preliminary sketches and mockups of Cooperstown's Glimmerglass Festival production of 'Aida.'
