A dance theater event by UpRooted Dance with Happenstance Theater’s Sabrina Mandell. Take a spin with UpRooted Dance as they jump aboard the love carousel and take you on a journey through the poetic contemporary dance theater movement of choreographer Keira Hart-Mendoza. Sabrina Mandell from Happenstance Theater is the protean outsider in this exploration of six female performers lost in the space and time of heartbreak. Drawing from popular contemporary music and older classics, the dances are set to tunes that will evoke “that lovin’ feeling.” The female performers of UpRooted Dance will woo audiences with their grace, charms, sorrow, and movement... all telling their personal stories of love and loss. Sabrina Mandell will guide the audience through a more intimate understanding of each woman’s journey.
