Hearts on Fire October 23, 2010

Drummer extraordinaire Barbara Borden, along with her new band, Hearts on Fire, present an unforgettable concert celebrating love and peace. This concert will be filmed by David Brown and will be featured in the documentary, Keeper of the Beat, the story of Barbara’s life as a drummer, composer, teacher and peacemaker. With her musical roots in jazz and big band, this event marks the beginning of Borden’s foray into rock & roll as both drummer and singer. All proceeds from the evening will go towards the completion of the documentary.

Third Rock, the opening band for this evening is a hot new band of socially responsible young rockers from 12 - 14 years old.

Hearts of Fire is Barbara Borden (drumming and singing,) Sheilah Glover (musical director, keyboards, vocals,) Lotus Belle-Glover (drums and percussion,) Deborah Winters (guitar and vocals,) Tom Finch (guitar and vocals,) and Rob Fordyce (bass and vocals.)
