Heartland Animal Shelter's Grand Re-Opening October 24, 2009

What’s new at your local animal shelter? Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 24th and head out to Northbrook’s Heartland Animal Shelter to find out. Heartland has recently made several updates to the shelter for the animals. Come and see our residents, the improved kennels, cat rooms, Rush-Gilbert Spay & Neuter Clinic and a beautiful donor recognition wall mural - The Giving Tree.

Shelter staff and volunteers will be on hand to highlight what is new at the facility, offer tours, and to talk to visitors about animal rescue and adoption. Come out to see the shelter and the animals from noon until 4 pm at Heartland Animal Shelter, 2975 Milwaukee Avenue. Refreshments and popcorn will be served.
