Healthy Planning Senior and Baby Boomer Expo August 11, 2012

FirstLight HomeCare, a franchised provider of professional, non-medical in-home care to seniors and others who need assistance, is sponsoring the Healthy Planning Senior and Baby Boomer Expo. Attendees will have a chance to talk face-to-face with professionals, ask questions and get advice on an array of topics pertaining to seniors, baby boomers, caregivers and health professionals. Six guest speakers will be presenting on senior-related issues.

The Healthy Planning Expo will feature representatives offering resources regarding home care, adult day care, long-term care and health insurance, investment advisors, elder law attorneys, assisted living, financial and estate planning, banking and mortgage, cemetery and funeral services, hearing, eye and dental care, and much more.

LifeCare Alliance will present a senior fashion show from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Shopping passes will be sold for $5 that will provide discounts at various retailers throughout the mall. All proceeds from the passes will benefit LifeCare Alliance’s programs. The American Red Cross will also be hosting a blood drive.
