HEALTHY CHOCOLATE? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE??
There has been a lot of attention surrounding Healthy Chocolate, and you can imagine why! Any chocolate that makes the bold claim of being actively good for you is bound to make people sit up and take notice. But what is it that makes this particular treat stand out from the crowd? You won’t want to miss the answer to this question! This Wednesday for the Mid-Week-Break… A Chocolate and wine tasting! What could be better?! Along with the delicious Chocolate samples brought in by our friend Lorraine Ryba, we’ll taste a wonderful and refreshing new French Vouvray from the Loire Valley, a delicious 91 point Zinfandel from Sonoma that we can’t wait to try with the chocolates, and a big bold Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. To have even more fun, we’ll pair the chocolates with two of our Frizzante style wines from Italy. Finally, every wine lover knows if you have chocolate you simply must pair it with a genuine Portuguese Port. Last week we tasted a Late Bottled Vintage Port, this week (for our mutual pleasure) we’ll taste a 10 Year Old Tawny Port, and I sure look forward to those toasty vanilla and caramel flavors in this wonderful wood-aged Port.
