Venue/Location: ThinkLab, 7th floor, Maxwell Building, University of Salford
Description:
Using Space to Address Health and Welfare Issues
This is a joint symposium organised by The School of Health Sciences and School of Environment & Life Sciences to introduce Health Ecology as a new discipline of study at the University of Salford. It comes under the University’s key themes of Health and Wellbeing and the Built and Human Environment.
Health Ecology incorporates a range of psychological, environmental and physical considerations which add up to how we engage with the world around us. This workshop brings together speakers on topics relevant to Health Ecology to explore the current state of research, describe ongoing projects and identify future directions.
The Symposium will be broadcast as a live video conference with colleagues from The University of Bangor.
As the number of places available at the Symposium are very limited, to reserve a place please contact: Rachel Shuttleworth Telephone: 0161 295 7016 email r.shuttleworth@salford.ac.uk.
