Health Across America Stops In Columbus, Offers Free Diabetes Screenings July 1, 2009

Pharmacists Partnering in Diabetes Care, a national campaign that is mobilizing more than 2,000 locally-owned community pharmacies in as many as 60 communities around the country this summer, will be at the Ohio Senate Building.

In response to this national campaign, the city of Columbus in conjunction with the Mayor’s office will proclaim July 1, 2009 as Pharmacists Partnering in Diabetes Care Day.

The Health Across America mobile screening unit will be at be positioned on Third Street in front of the Ohio Senate Building

The Columbus event will offer FREE diabetes screenings and the opportunity to talk to healthcare professionals about the condition and leading a healthier lifestyle.
