Course Content
The intensive 1-day course features a short theoretical session dealing with the central issues raised and differences between SD/HDV and HD cameras.
The bulk of the course features practical exercises exploring the functionality of HD cameras and the various techniques, skills and knowledge needed exploit them.
The course will be based on the Panasonic AJ-HDX-900 DVCPRO with HD LCD screens but will also use DSR 570 and Sony Z1 cameras to help illustrate the differences and variations between the various formats.

After beginning his career as a cameraman with the BBC in Ealing Brian has, for the past 10 years or so, been teaching on various camera and production courses. He has delivered courses for BBC Training and Development at Elstree and Wood Norton on Lighting & Safety for DV as well as camera courses (VX1000/2000, PD170, DSR500/570 and Z1). He has also run courses for MTV.
