Hawthorne Heights, the post-hardcore/emo-pop quintet to hit the Grog Shop Stage Monday, November 2nd. Originally called A Day in the Life, the Dayton, Ohio-based collective is joined by Just Surrender, emo-rocking pop-punk with influences from Brand New and comparisons to Taking Back Sunday. The effervescent pop-punk Punchline, whose influences include Green Day and Weezer, are known for bringing forward distinctive tunes to the alternative rock scene. Also included in the line-up are Rhode Island based quintet, Monty Are I known for adding brass instrumentation to post-hardcore and a perfect follow up to the newly released cd – Break Through the Silence and Nick Testa’s breakaway project, Night Beast whose imagination and original music stylings are a welcome addition to the tour.
