Hawks ans Owls at Acoustic Saturday Nights at Grand River Folk Arts February 28, 2009

Long time friend and mentor Bruce Ling describes his tight combo this way: Hawks and Owls present “the acoustic evolution of rural American music. Founded in 1997, we perform for music festivals, dances, private parties, and corporate functions in styles from country blues, bluegrass, early swing, Appalachian fiddle, and ballads.” We'll be tapping our toes to the beat, marveling at the intricate, tasteful arrangements of traditional favorites and enjoying original compositions that extend the genre.
